Notes

Nathaniel Phelps of Northampton was the son of William Phelps (the colonist); he married the widow Elizabeth Copley and had Mary, born 21 Jun 1651; Nathaniel, 2 Apr 1653; Abigail 5 Apr 1655; all born at Windsor. Then, at Northampton had William 22 Jun 1657; and Mercy 1662. He died 27 May 1702; and his widow died 6 Dec 1712. (This continues a bit with his children's spouses, etc.)

This son Nathaniel of Nathaniel, the grandson of William Phelps the colonist who was born in 1653 in Windsor and then of Northampton, he married in 1676 Grace Martin (it continues with his children). (This Nathaniel died where he lived in Northampton in 1719.)

At the bottom of image page 406 begins Nathaniel Phelps of Westfield. He is the son of George Phelps (the immigrant, and his wife Frances), and by his wife Eunice; they had Nathaniel, born 10 Oct 1678; Eunice 29 May 1680, died at age 6; Jonathan, 28 Dec 1682; Thomas, 15 May 1685, died the next year; Eunice, again, 12 Oct 1688; and Lois, 7 Sep 1692. He died in Jun 1723; and his widow died 17 Dec 1738.
