As the IGI shows, John Drake married Lettice Shakespear 25 June 1616 at Hampton In Arden, Warwick (submitted entry). How she might connect to the great poet's family, however, is not proven. That Shakespeare information was submitted to the IGI clear back in 1969. The abstracts of Hampton in Arden, done by the LDS extraction program when I was a boy, list as children of John and Lettice: John, bp. 25 Aug 1616 Esther, bp. 18 Jan 1618 Job, bp. 5 Mar 1620 (male) bp. 31 Mar 1622 Elizabeth bp. 9 Jan 1625 (female) bp. 20 May 1632 Paul [C. Reed]
