A former resident of Portland, Robert L. Hendee, D.D.S., 69 of San Jose, Ca. died Wednesday, January 10. He is a retired major of the U.S. Army, a member of Antioch Lodge No. 175 F&AM, Aahmes Temple, AAONMS of Oakland, Ca. and Contra Costa County Shrine Club. Preceding him in death was his wife, Margaret Moore Hendee. Survivors include two daughters, Joanne Quartermas of Concord, Ca.; Cathy Hendee of Los Angeles; three sons, Jacob B. Hendee of Freemont, Ca.; Richard L. Hendee of Santa Cruz, Ca. and Rich Hendeeof Antioch, Ca. and eight grandchildren.
