Lathrop, 66, 505 1/2 Madison St., Beaver Dam, died Tuesday, September 2, 1980, at his home. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, from the Briese Roedl Weber Funeral Home with Dennis Dietz officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Lathrop was born in Beaver Dam on May 27, 1914 to William and Clara Lathrop. He was married to Clara Salzwedel in the Town of Manchester on Jan. 20, 1943. He was a member of Jehovas Witness Church of Beaver Dam. He was employed for Monarch Range Co. for 41 years in the electrical department and served his country during World War II in the US Army with duty overseas in Europe. Survivors include his wife, one son, Gene (Aileen) Appleton; one grandson; one sister, Irene Wollery of Port Angeles, Wash.; Three brothers, Raymond, Rochelle, Ill., James, Beaver Dam, and Tunis, Milwaukee; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Briese Roedl Weber Funeral Home. |
