Notes: 1- There was a Thomas Parsons listed at Windsor, CT on the Founders List, 1641 2- In reading an article "Children of Mother Windsor" by Homer W. Scott [published in DFAW [Descendants of Ancient Windsor] Newsletter, Vol. XX, No.3 Winter 2003, Scott reports on the Towns which split off from Windsor, listing thirteen [13] separate towns, and he adds: "In addition, Suffield, 1674; Enfield, 1683; Vernon, 1734; and Manchester, 1823 include portions of some early Windsor grants and might be calledstepchildren. So it appears that Enfield was, until 1683, a part of Windsor, CT or at least a portion of Enfield. This interesting fact raises a question of any relationship between Thomas Parsons of Windsor in 1641 and Philip Parsons.
