Hendee PDF Library
About The Downloads
Over the past 20 years, I have searched for and read many books and PDFs that contain any Hendee (or other phonetic spellings) information. I have carefully collected them and stored them on this domain. Almost all of these PDFs have been carefully OCR'd (Optical Character Recognition). This allows the reader to use the “Search” dialog in their PDF reader. The best search criteria would be for Hendee, or Hendy, or Hende, or Hendie, etc.. Please note - these files may represent entire books. Therefore, they are big files and will take considerable time and bandwidth to download. Do not download on a cell phone under any condition. The best download situation would be with a computer, notebook, or tablet with a high-speed connection to the internet. • 1931 Milwaukee, Wisconsin Interview - This is an image of a newspaper article about a 1931 interview with Mrs. Carl M. Mueller. She was a direct descendant of Richard Hendee (Hendy) b. 1611. Along with many things, Hendee discussed in this article is her description and photo of her Hendee Crest. There has been other formal documentation of this crest in the British Armory of Crests. But, this one comes from a Hendee. Here is the URL link: https://the-hendees.com/PDFs/1931_Milwaulki_Wisconsin_Interview.jpg.
Lord Mayor of London John Hende
Mayor John Hende - I found this guy one day as I was surfing the Internet Archive for the name Hendee. Amongst the hundreds of books that included the name Hendee was this book, “The County of Essex, the Ancient and Modern”, by Thomas Wright, Esq. This is the book that sparked my interest in John Hende, his family, his history, and his connection to us. I became such a sleuth with this guy; I actually wrote a letter to the Draper Society of London for any information on him. He is a very interesting person. Is he related to us? Maybe - who knows. Feel free to share if you find something. Anyways, below are some links to what I have found. So, to make things easy, I created a folder and placed all the Mayor John Hende stuff in there. You may visit https://the-hendees.com/PDFs/Lord-Mayor-John-Hende to read or download any of the files pertaining to Lord Mayor John Hende. Enjoy!
