Two of the most sought after things for a genealogist to aquire are Sources and Artifacts. Sources are written citatations or testomoney to the truth of the genealogists recording. Artifacts are actual objects that either a decendent has touched or in some way closely affiliated with.

may have been created in London in the early 1400s for Sir John Hendie, Mayor of London, England. It was first recorded on page 478 of the General Armorial of England, Scotland & Wales Published in 1884. Other family documentation was found as well.
